These forums aim to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in life sciences, with a focus on medical devices, by bringing together a selected group of doctors, venture capitalists, professors, and students from UC Berkeley and UCSF to discuss a specific clinical area and identify unmet clinical needs.
In order to keep the group small and to maximize interactions, VIP forums are by invitation only and the size of the group is usually limited to 40 people.
