Introduction

For nearly 20 years the Berkeley Entrepreneurs Forum has provided an intimate and informative setting for students and the public to meet with and hear from seasoned professional entrepreneurs. Each month, a specific topic in entrepreneurship and innovation is presented and discussed by the leading Bay Area professionals in that field. The purpose of the forum is to foster the growth and success of entrepreneurial ventures through the exchange of information and the development of productive relationships among entrepreneurs and those who finance and advise them. It allows professionals to meet each other and to meet the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders. Time is set aside for short presentations by the "numbers" - a lucky few drawn by number, who get to make a short pitch about their company or themselves.

The Forum generally meets on the last Thursday of each month during the academic year: September to November, and January to April. All meetings are:

Thursdays, 6:30 - 8:30 PM
Arthur Andersen Auditorium
Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley

All programs begin with a networking hour from 6:30 to 7:30 with complimentary drinks and hors d'oeuvres. A presentation by a variety of speakers of interest to the Bay Area entrepreneurial community follows in the Andersen Auditorium at 7:30 PM. Registration is required. If you are unfamiliar with the UC Berkeley campus, check out the campus map to locate the Haas School on the east (uphill) side of campus.

Register for the Forum. If you are currently a UC Berkeley faculty, staff, or student, a Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory employee, or associated with the UC Office of the President, call 642-4255 or e-mail lester@haas.berkeley.edu for special rates.
