Summer Internships

The summer between the first and second year of the MBA program is the ideal time for the budding entrepreneur to find out what a start-up is all about.

The Lester Center works with the Entrepreneurs Association (EA) and its Partners for Entrepreneurial Leadership to find EA members summer internships with early-stage companies and to help them capitalize on those internships in classes during the following semester.

The Lester Center administers stipends, primarily supported by the Richard Dumke Memorial Fund, that subsidize selected students who are working at small, start-up firms that can not afford the market rates for Berkeley MBA interns.

The Richard Dumke Memorial Fund was established to support entrepreneurship students from the MBA program.
