Haas to Compete in KACE Competition

The Haas School will be participating for the first time this year in the KACE Competition held at the Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University. Participation is by invitation, and the Lester Center is pleased to have been invited to participate in the five-year-old competition. Under the direction of an instructor, students prepare original teaching cases, complete with teaching notes, based on their summer internships. The instructors from the participating schools then act as judges, evaluating the case studies on the basis of their potential as teaching tools.

Tim Gray and Todd Bruininks both from the EWMBA program will present their case, Pajobbas, on Feb. 4-5. Entrepreneurship lecturer David Charron, instructor of Case Studies in Entrepreneurship, will accompany the Tim and Todd and will participate in the judging. The Haas team will be competing against MBAs from the Universities of Michigan, Chicago, and Arizona, San Diego State University and Wake Forest University.
