6pm: Happy hour & idea pitching

Attendees (you!) can give 60-second pitches for what they want to work on and what they need in a team. Come with an idea — come early to get ideas from our speakers!

**Food and drink will be provided, and teams will start forming as soon as the pitches are over.


Saturday: All-day coding / designing / building

  • 8:30am: Doors open, breakfast & caffeine laid out, groundwork of the day is presented

  • 9am – 4pm: Teams work, mentors available, resource experts may overview datasets and API’s throughout the day. Lunch, snacks and more caffeine provided throughout the day.

  • 4pm – 6pm: Work continues, teams test-run their pitches

  • 6pm: Each team has 4 minutes to pitch to an all-star judging panel, + 6 minutes of Q&A

    Teams are eligible for prizes based on how much they build over 24 hours, the viability of their product and their business model, and the degree of positive health system impact:

    • $2000 Grand Prize
    • $1000 for Best Mobile App from Morgenthaler Ventures
