Summer Internship Support

The summer between the first and second year of the MBA program is the ideal time for the budding entrepreneur to find out what the start-up work is all about.

The Lester Center works with the Entrepreneurs Association (EA) and its Partners for Entrepreneurial Leadership to find EA members summer internships with entrepreneurial companies and to help them capitalize on those internships in classes during the following semester.

The Lester Center administers a changing series of grants that allow it to subsidize selected students who are working at small, start-up firms that can’t afford the market rates for Haas MBA interns.

The Center receives funding support from the Richard Dumke Memorial Fund, which was established to support entrepreneurship students from the MBA program.
