Brian Peters is the Founder and CEO of Inneos, a Pleasanton, CA-based fiber optic communications company that develops and manufactures subsystems used in the transport of high definition video. Brian actively manages the marketing, sales, and hardware development teams, and has led the definition, design and launch of multiple market-leading optical subsystems. Prior to Inneos, Brian founded Blaze Network Products, a developer of optical transceivers for the Ethernet LAN market. He also helped launch Universal Lightspeed, a company born from technology developed at UC Berkeley that created optical read-write heads for the then-emerging optical disk drive industry. Brian’s career also includes management consulting for PRTM where he specialized in implementing high-performance manufacturing and supply chain operations for Semiconductor and Telecommunication clients. He was recruited to PRTM from Haas where he received his MBA in 1995. Prior to attending Haas as a fulltime student, Brian spent several years in high-performance photonics and electronics manufacturing operations in Santa Clara and Palo Alto as an engineer or manager. Brian received his BS in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science from UC Davis in 1988.
