Katie Hurley is currently a Product Marketing Manager for Salesforce’s Big Data & Analytics Product, Wave Analytics. Prior to working in Product Marketing, Katie held positions in M&A Finance and Sales Strategy where she oversaw company-wide investment strategies for Salesforce’s acquired companies and worked closely with Salesforce’s EVP of Sales.Katie understands what it takes to grow and integrate technology start-ups within larger companies and knows what companies look for when evaluating acquisition targets. She also has experience building out go-to-market strategies for new products with nascent sales teams as she’s designed sales forecasting processes, compensation models, and sales territory coverage and alignment plans for Salesforce’s specialist sales army. In her current role as a Product Marketing Manager, Katie works closely with Product Management to execute product launches, create sales enablement strategies, and articulate the value of product. Katie has a deep appreciation for emerging technologies, has intimate experience with enterprise customers, and looks forward to helping entrepreneurs innovate and execute on their product vision.
