Audit an MBA Entrepreneurship Course

Berkeley MBA alumni are invited to audit a graduate-level course each fall and spring semester at the Haas School for free — a benefit made possible by the Haas Annual Fund. The application process is announced by email each July 15th and Dec 15th. Please make sure your preferred email address is current in our database by emailing us at alumnihelp@haas.berkeley.edu.

Participate in CalFounders

Cal Founders is a forum for experienced alumni to have confidential and informative discussions about pressing business issues in a risk-free setting. The group is open to UC Berkeley Alumni who are actively engaged in their startup as a Founder/Co-Founder.

Calfounders is a robust and thriving professional network, over 500 Founders strong and supported by a Team of Mentors.  Our entrepreneurs and mentors encompass a diverse range of industries and expertise.  Supported in part by Cal-alumni sponsors, venture investors and a deep mentorship network, Michael Berolzheimer (MBA ’07) and Cynthia Maxey donate their time to nurture & cultivate the incredibly strong talent pool that emerges from Cal.

Schedule Advising in Startup Careers

The Berkeley-Haas Entrepreneurship Program is working with the Haas Career Management Group to expand opportunities for students and alumni interested in working with startups. Deepak Gupta serves as an industry expert in the MBA Career Management Group. He provides career-related advising for students and alumni who are seeking job opportunities in startups. This service complements the student and alumni services of the Berkeley-Haas Entrepreneurship Program.  Based on his experiences at various startups, accelerators and venture capital, Deepak provides a unique perspective for students and alumni who are interested in this space. Apply to the UC LAUNCH Startup Accelerator

 

LAUNCH is the University of California’s leading accelerator, designed to transform early-stage startups into fundable companies. From 100+ applications a year, our judges select ~20 of the most promising startups in the UC system. Teams are paired with serial-entrepreneurs and mentors with deep operational experience and are led through a rigorous Lean Startup-focused curriculum. The three-month-long accelerator helps UC startups quickly discover and develop scalable business models.
