The $100,000 Dean’s Startup Seed Fund, created by Dean Rich Lyons and announced last October, provides grants to early-stage startups that include Berkeley-Haas students. The grant money will be used for prototype development and customer discovery activities. The first ten $5,000 grants were awarded in December.
