Fellowships & Internships
Summer internships and fellowships provide a unique opportunity
for first year MBA students to literally “work outside of
the box” with new business ventures. Given the nature
of start up companies, many of whom do not have adequate funds
to support internships, the Lester Center manages several
programs that support students interested in entrepreneurship.
These programs include:
- Haas Venture Fellows
- Mayfield Fellows
- Turner Fellowship
- Larson Scholarship
- Venture Innovation Program
- Summer Internships
- PEL Internships
The Entrepreneurship Internship Program provides paid summer internships as an opportunity for entrepreneurship students to learn the strategies of start-ups and venture capital. Internships are with new and expansion phase businesses and venture capital firms.
These programs have been made possible by the generous donations from the Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, the Price Institute, and other individual donors. The Lester Center works with all parties to ensure and fund a once in a lifetime educational opportunity.
